The Hawks of Montgomery, Alabama’s Huntingdon College are currently locked in a four-way tie for first in the USA South Athletic Conference standings after this weekend’s 51-31 win over the Christopher Newport University Captains.
The Hawks were led on Saturday by sophomore quarterback Luke Bailey, who torched the Captains’ secondary for 371 yards and four touchdowns.
In the play of the game — maybe even the play of the year — Bailey hit senior wide receiver Brantley Carr on a flee flicker in the back right corner of the end zone after Brantley shed a defender with a well-timed 360.
