Alabama wide receiver Amari Cooper is having a pretty good week in Indianapolis at the NFL Combine.
After showing the world that he can do ridiculous clapping pull-ups, the wide receiver went flying in his 40-yard dash.

He didn’t drop a ball in the catching drills and performed well in the workouts, with NFL Network Draft analyst Mike Mayock saying, “This kid is as smooth as any wide receiver in recent memory.”

Obviously, what Cooper did last season at Alabama and his play on film matters more than his 40-yard dash, but a 4.43 and 4.42 in his two 40s — anything under 4.5 seconds — is fantastic for him at the wide receiver position.
Combined with his work ethic, catching and route-running, Cooper is a lock to be a high first round NFL Draft pick on April 30.
