The Central Alabama Veterans Health Care System has debuted an innovative VA Wayfinding system in Tuskegee and Montgomery.
The Wayfinding system, according to CAVHCS, will grow the overall VA experience for veterans, their families, and staff members by giving them intuitive navigation and improved accessibility to VA facilities.
“Implementing the VA Wayfinding system underscores our commitment to delivering exceptional care and support to our Veterans,” said CAVHCS Director/CEO Amir Farooqi. “We are thrilled to introduce this cutting-edge technology, which will greatly enhance the overall experience by providing intuitive navigation and accessibility throughout our facilities.
“This system reflects our ongoing dedication to improving the care and support we provide to those who have served our nation.”
The new system will provide the navigation and accessibility with interactive digital maps, directional signs, and a mobile app. These products are made to offer a comprehensive and user-friendly solution at the CAVHCS offices.
Apple and Android devices have access to the mobile app which gives users real time navigation assistance, turn by turn directions, and more info about the campus. The system can also send directions to smartphones or provides the option to print directions at kiosks in VA facilities.
To download the mobile app, visit the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and search for VA Wayfinding.
