UAB’s Performing Arts Center to premiere several new shows and events in 2024

The University of Alabama in Birmingham’s Alys Stephens Performing Arts Center announced it will premier several new performances and events this coming year — ranging from plays and concerts all the way to a dog show and Q&A session with renowned actor, John Cusack.

The performances and events, as well as their dates, times, and prices are as follows:

Mutts Gone Nuts

January 7

3 p.m.

$20 per ticket, $65 family of four special

Xavier Foley

February 7

7 p.m.

No cost

Steep Canyon Rangers

February 8

7 p.m.

Reserved tickets are $20, $30 and $40

Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater

February 17

7 p.m.

Ticket prices start at $38

Gladys Knight

February 18

6 p.m.

Almost sold out. Tickets are $69, $79, and $89

An Intimate Evening with David Foster and Katharine McPhee

March 2

8 p.m.

Reserved seating tickets are $65, $75 and $85

An Evening with John Cusack

March 10

6 p.m.

Tickets are $50, $60 and $70. A limited number of $150 VIP tickets are available

Syncopated Ladies

$20 per ticket, $65 family of four special
