5 DAYS REMAINING IN THE 2024 ALABAMA LEGISLATIVE SESSION

U.S. Rep. Moore: Gen. Milley said he wanted to understand ‘white rage’ — They need to understand ‘red, white and blue rage’

During a House Armed Services Committee hearing back in June, U.S. Army Gen. Mark Milley, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, defended a reading list that included materials about so-called Critical Race Theory.

“I want to understand white rage, and I’m white,” Milley said during the hearing.

On the heels of the collapse of the Afghanistan government after the U.S. military’s withdrawal, which President Joe Biden made at the behest of U.S. military commanders, U.S. Rep. Barry Moore (R-Enterprise) suggested Milley make himself aware of a different rage.

Moore told Mobile radio FM Talk 106.5 on Friday that Milley should understand “red, white and blue rage.”

“[I]’m reminded of [Gen. Mark] Milley in a hearing a few weeks ago when he said he wanted to understand ‘white rage,'” Moore said. “What they need to understand is ‘red, white and blue rage.'”

“The American people are sick of this political correctness, and they’re putting our national security in jeopardy, Americans in harm’s way and costing American lives,” he continued. “It is troubling for the future of our country. It’s time that these people be held accountable.”
