4 DAYS REMAINING IN THE 2024 ALABAMA LEGISLATIVE SESSION

U.S. Rep. Jerry Carl demands action from Biden on illegal immigration, says president has ‘failed to address the crisis at our border’

U.S. Rep. Jerry Carl (R-Mobile) on Wednesday announced that he had sent a letter to President Joe Biden in which he demanded answers regarding the mass influx of illegal aliens entering the United States on a daily basis.

The South Alabama congressman slammed what he sees as the Biden administration’s failures relating to border security.

“Today, I sent President Biden a letter demanding answers and action regarding his escalating illegal immigration crisis at our nation’s southern border,” said Carl. “We MUST have a strong border to protect the health, safety, and security of American citizens, but President Biden and Vice President Harris have completely failed to address the crisis at our border and enforce our nation’s immigration laws.”

Carl places blame at the feet of the president as the congressman sees him as being directly responsible for the nation’s illegal immigration woes, which he says has become a “national security threat and humanitarian crisis.”

“President Biden’s failure to address the massive numbers of illegal immigrants pouring into the United States every day shows his disregard for the national security threat and humanitarian crisis he has created,” he added. “The American people deserve leadership from President Biden, but so far we have seen none. It’s time for the Biden Administration to get serious about this crisis and protect the health and safety of Americans across this country.”

Earlier this week, the New York Post reported that the Biden administration has secretly flown planeloads of underage migrants into the northeastern region of the United States. While most migrants were seemingly children and teenagers, the outlet says some appeared to be men in their 20s. The Post reports that the administration’s goal is to “quietly resettle” the minors within the region.

According to the newspaper, some of the federal government’s flight operations, which originated in Texas, were conducted in the dead of night, with flight times ranging from midnight to 6:30 a.m.
