U.S. Tommy Tuberville (R-Auburn) took to the floor of the Senate Wednesday to criticize the Democratic Party’s stance on gender issues, especially when it comes to women’s sports.
Tuberville spoke on the issue for National Women’s In Sports Day. He also made sure to display an emoji of a pregnant male to highlight the ridiculousness of the other party.
Democrats think men can get pregnant.
Just ridiculous. https://t.co/O57U9eN1uC

“For the past four years, the Biden administration waged an all-out assault on gender. Since the beginning of time, people have agreed that sex is assigned at birth and determined by God,” Tuberville said. “But under the Biden administration, you had people claiming that men can get pregnant. Here on this floor I heard that.
“Pure insanity.”
“On Nov. 5, 2024, the American people just didn’t elect President Trump, they also decisively rejected this ridiculous notion that men can get pregnant and boys should compete in women’s sports.”@SenTuberville is calling the Senate to vote on his bill to protect girls’ sports. pic.twitter.com/K7hcNQg2Jg

President Trump signed an executive order Wednesday to protect women’s sports and reaffirm the governments commitment to the original intent of Title IX.
“But it didn’t stop there. They weren’t content to just erase gender norms that have been accepted for thousands of years,” Tuberville continued. “No – they wanted to allow transgender men to participate in [women’s and girls’] sports. This has been happening at schools all across the country. Young women have been forced to compete against men – and even to share locker rooms and showers. And on top of that, your taxpayer dollars are paying for it. Over the past several years under Joe Biden, 900 women’s medals went to men…That is absolutely wrong.”
The senator is also reintroducing his “Protection of Women and Girls in Sports Act,” to protect Title IX and make sure it’s not reversed by a future president.
“If [Trump] goes out of office and we don’t get a Republican back in there, this will change back into the over-loving nonsense that these Democrats have been pushing for the last four years,” Tuberville said on Fox News. “We have to protect women and girls in sports.”
