Club for Growth Action, the conservative Super PAC of the Club for Growth, recently announced the launch of the Save America Coalition.
According to a release, the project has two goals:
1). To educate the public about the policy positions of U.S. Senators David Perdue (R-GA) and Kelly Loeffler (R-GA) and their importance to the future of America.
2). Political committees in the coalition will help the reelection efforts of Senators Perdue and Loeffler in the January 5, 2021 runoff election and thus prevent Democrats from becoming the majority party in the Senate.
“The Georgia run-off elections are about more than two Senate seats, the races are about control of the Senate and preventing an increasingly radical Democratic Party from undoing every American institution and instituting socialism,” Club for Growth Action President David McIntosh said in a statement. “We are bringing together organizations and leaders to support and engage conservatives in Georgia.”
Club for Growth Action will reportedly spend at least $10 million towards this effort.
U.S. Senator-elect Tommy Tuberville (R-AL) is a featured member of the Save America Coalition, per Club for Growth’s release.
He has been outspoken on the importance of Republicans keeping control of the Senate. This is especially important for Alabama, as U.S. Senator Richard Shelby (R-AL) would lose the powerful chairmanship of the Senate Committee on Appropriations if Democrats win the Georgia runoffs.

In a statement to Yellowhammer News, Tuberville said, “The Liberal Democrats are doing everything they can to turn our Republican Senate majority into a Democratic majority, and it all comes down to Georgia. I’m thrilled to stand with Club For Growth Action’s Save America Coalition and many other conservative allies as we fight for the future of our country. Our coalition is determined to do everything possible to keep Georgia red.”
