Tuberville endorsed by both Alabama Chapters of Associated Builders & Contractors, Inc.

U.S. Senator Tommy Tuberville is receiving a great deal of support from high-profile organizations across the state in his campaign to become Alabama’s next governor in 2026.

On Monday, Tuberville (R-Auburn) picked up another key endorsement, this time from both Alabama chapters of the Associated Builders & Contractors, Inc. The two chapters, ABC Alabama and ABC North Alabama, believe Tuberville is the right man for the job, given his past experiences with construction industry officials.

Tim Harrison, of Harrison Construction in Tuscaloosa and Chairman of ABC of Alabama, believes Tuberville ‘simply gets us and understands our industry.’

“He has been a vocal champion for Alabama construction firms, consistently opposing government-mandated project labor agreements and showing a clear understanding of our workforce shortage concerns,” said Harrison. “He is sincerely committed to helping grow our $17.2 billion industry here in Alabama.”

Tuberville thanked the two chapters for their show of support heading into the election.

“I’m honored to receive the endorsement of the members of ABC in Alabama,” he said. “Their work in protecting the values of fair and open competition in the construction industry and ensuring the training and safety of their members is vital, and I look forward to working together to ensure our state thrives.”

The organizations noted the endorsement reflects the will of thousands in the state’s construction industry and encouraged Alabamians to back Tuberville in the coming gubernatorial race.

“This endorsement reflects the voices of hundreds of businesses, thousands of hardworking, skilled craft professionals, families, and stakeholders who are committed to building a better Alabama for the next generation. ABC urges all Alabamians to join us in supporting Tuberville for Governor in the upcoming election.”

ABC Alabama and ABC North Alabama represent more than 700 construction and construction-related firms across the state of Alabama. Nationally, ABC and it’s chapters represent more than 23,000 member companies.
