Tiffany McIntyre has officially entered the race for the Homewood City Council Ward 1 seat releasing her official announcement.
“I grew up in West Homewood and I have always loved our great community. Even while living in places all across the country as an Army spouse, I always knew Homewood was where I wanted to raise my family,” McIntyre said. “My parents are still here, and now my kids are growing up in the same close-knit neighborhood and attending the same incredible schools that shaped me.”
McIntyre’s community involvement includes service on the Homewood City Schools Foundation and the Homewood Athletic Foundation.
She has participated in PTO organizations at every level and recently served as PTO president for Homewood High School. She also volunteers with the Service Guild, supporting families across Central Alabama.
“Now, I’m running to represent West Homewood as the City Council Member for Ward 1 because I want to keep Homewood moving forward—without losing what makes it special,” McIntyre said. “That means keeping our schools among the best in the state, investing in safe, connected neighborhoods, and ensuring every decision is made with families in mind.”
McIntyre concluded her announcement by saying, “I’m homegrown in West Homewood, and I’m ready to listen and serve the community that’s always been home to me.”
