The Saban Center announces partnership with Stillman College

The Saban Center, a cutting-edge, forthcoming educational campus that integrates STEM and the arts, has announced an exciting partnership with Stillman College in Tuscaloosa to ‘enhance and promote STEM and arts education throughout Alabama.

Stillman becomes the third educational institution along with Shelton State Community College and The University of Alabama to join with the Saban Center as a strategic programmatic partner in to deepen regional engagement with communities across West Alabama.

“I am thrilled to see Stillman College partner with the Saban Center to create new opportunities in STEM and the arts for our community,” said Ms. Terry Saban, who is a Stillman College Board of Trustee member and obviously key in the Saban Center as well. “This collaboration not only enriches our educational landscape but also empowers our youth to explore their passions and potential. Together, we can inspire the next generation of innovators and creators in West Alabama.”

Stillman College President Dr. Yolanda Page also talked about the excitement of the partnership and what it will mean to the school.

“We are delighted to join the Saban Center to make a meaningful impact on the lives of young people in our community,” Page said. “Collaborations like this strengthen our community ties and allow us to build on our shared commitment to education, ultimately benefiting everyone who lives, works, and studies in Tuscaloosa and its surrounding areas.”

President of the Saban Center, Audrey Buck, described what an honor it is to partner up with Stillman.

“We are honored to collaborate with Stillman College and align our mission with their extensive expertise and resources,” Buck said. “Their commitment to education is crucial in shaping the future of STEM education in West Alabama and will greatly enhance our approach connecting young people to the workforce.”
