Nick Saban has always been fiery on the field and has been known to chew players out frequently when they don’t do the things they’re supposed to do. As we’ve seen (and heard), chances are, 99 out of 100 times, he’s not using G-rated language when he does it.
On this week’s edition of Hey Coach, Saban was asked about the “swear jar” which results in him having to pay $5 every time he curses in a meeting.
“Yeah, it’s costing me…” Saban lamented.
"What the players are campaigning for is they want me to pay for any swearing on the field … I might need to get a loan from Miss Terry on that one."

Saban also shared that the players are trying to make it an on-field thing as well, something he says would be very costly.
“What the players are campaigning for, which I have not given into as of yet. But it would make me a better person if I did it. They want me to pay for any swearing on the field. Now that would be very costly,” Saban said.
“I might need to get a loan from Miss Terry on that one.”
