Steve Miller Band coming to Tuscaloosa for concert in October

A legendary rock band is making a trip to Tuscaloosa this coming October for fans to get a chance to hear them live.

The Mercedes-Benz Amphitheater – formerly known as the Tuscaloosa Amphitheater – is going to be hosting the Steve Miller Band on the evening of Wednesday, October 1, 2025 with guest opener Robert Randolph.

It’s the second trip to Tuscaloosa for the band, who last played there in 2015.

With numerous top hits such as “The Joker”, “Fly Like an Eagle”, and “Take the Money and Run”, the band has been around since it was first formed way back in 1966.

The namesake of the group – Steve Miller himself – is still on lead guitar and vocals, though the 81-year-old is the only remaining original member.

Miller was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2016 and has continued touring and selling out shows throughout the 2010s and 2020s.

Tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. CST on Friday, April 11 both online and at the venue’s box office at 2710 Jack Warner Parkway.
