Jalen Milroe is living his best life.
With the Geico 500 at Talladega Superspeedway this weekend, a little over an hour drive time from Tuscaloosa, Milroe headed out to catch the race.
But what he probably didn’t expect was an encounter with one of the greatest athletes in the history of sports and perhaps the best basketball player to ever live.

Milroe and Michael Jordan laughed and joked as they got ready to pose for a picture:

As someone as high profile as the starting quarterback at the University of Alabama, Milroe probably doesn’t get starstruck very often these days.
But around someone who is on the Mount Rushmore across all sports in terms of iconic athletes, it would be hard not to be.
Jordan has always been an avid NASCAR fan and is close friends with racer Denny Hamlin, who dropped out of the race on Sunday after a late crash took out a large part of the field.
He is a co-owner of the 23XI Racing team that includes Hamlin as well as Tyler Reddick, who went on to win the race after the wreck.
Milroe was joined by a cast of other Alabama teammates at the race including DeVonta Smith, Jihaad Campbell and Malachi Moore:
