Legal gambling isn’t free. This debate shouldn’t be about tax revenue.
It should be about what happens when 18-year-olds can gamble from their dorm rooms, families pile up debt, and sports betting becomes part of everyday life.
If Alabama expands gambling, that’s the real tradeoff. Voters deserve an honest conversation about the costs.
