One snake’s curiosity led to a widespread power outage Wednesday that affected thousands of Alabamians.
The Marshall Dekalb Electric Cooperative announced their first thought suggested a problem on the Tennessee Valley Authority’s end.
Crew members from the MDEC were surprised to find a large intruder on their primary substation in Albertville.
“We located the problem and thought we would share with our members,” the MDEC wrote.
