The University of Alabama is preparing to host the biggest regular season event it has held at least since the Tide took on Joe Burrow’s 2019 LSU team.
During the 2019 game, as will be the case on Saturday, both President Trump and College GameDay are in town, which has led to UA Athletics releasing suggested guidelines as to when fans should be arriving to the stadium, what gate they should be entering, and what they should be preparing for from a security standpoint:

UA is recommending those who are attending arrive to the gates no later than 5:00 P.M. CST for the 6:30 kickoff. The security checkpoints are as follows:
Gates 2 – 24: Northwest Security Checkpoint
Gates 27 – 45: South Security Checkpoint Gates
Gates 49 – 63: Northeast Security Checkpoint Gates
Gates 39 – 40: Student Security Checkpoint
The post also advised fans to be prepared to remove all items from their pockets as well as any pins or buttons and larger pieces of jewelry, similar to airport security. The prohibited items list remains the same as it always does and shoes and belts will remain on fans.
