Nick Saban, a Tuscaloosa resident since 2007, has reportedly found a new destination to relax, unwind and, of course, scheme for his next big win.
According to the Palm Beach Post, Saban purchased a beachfront home on Jupiter Island, Fla., this spring for $17.5 million.
Agents who sold the property used the word “stunning” to describe it.
On the property sits a 6,200 square-foot, six-bedroom home with marble floors on 150 feet of oceanfront. Saban joins Jupiter Island’s neighborhood of sports celebrities including Tiger Woods and Gary Player.

In 2019, Sports Illustrated reported that Saban and Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney each coincidentally vacation in Boca Grande, a small island town in Southwest Florida.
“They find this little beach town quaint and charming—the island’s main mode of transportation is golf cart, after all,” SI wrote. “But Boca Grande’s main allure is the attitude the locals have developed over the years, a culture they’ve created to accommodate the rich and famous. People know they can visit Boca Grande and not be bothered.”
The same goes for Saban’s new spot on Jupiter Island.
“We have a lot of high-profile people here, but it’s all very low-key, not flashy at all,” Florida real estate agent Joanne Wagner wrote.
“It’s a stunning property.”
