It wasn’t the best performance on homecoming for the Crimson Tide who had to hold on to defeat the now 2-5 Arkansas Razorbacks by a score of 24-21. But Alabama head coach Nick Saban is on a hot streak of providing golden lines at his press conferences.

Arkansas QB KJ Jefferson, who has had an up and down year, was brilliant today and a huge reason why Arkansas was able to cut the Tide’s lead to three in the fourth quarter.

There was a critical play on second down where cornerback Terrion Arnold was sent on a corner blitz to pressure Jefferson, and looked like he had him dead to rights. Somehow, Jefferson was able to escape and dump it off for a huge gain which eventually led to a Razorbacks touchdown:

When talking about Arkansas after the game and their perceived skill level by the media, Saban referenced this play directly and referred to it in an absolutely hilarious way:

“They’re a good team and that quarterback is a handful. When a quarterback can take a major college football player and sling him off like a gnat on a cow’s ass, that was one of the most impressive praise I’ve ever seen a player make,” Saban said.
