Saban, Jalen and Kalen roll deep at Alabama basketball game

Alabama’s Saturday night matchup against Tennessee did not go as many Tide fans hoped, as the Vols left Coleman Coliseum with an 81-74 victory in hand.

But in the shadow of College Gameday’s first appearance in Tuscaloosa for basketball, the stars were shining out for the massive showdown.

Alabama quarterback Jalen Milroe snapped a historic selfie of the star-studded crowd sitting next to his current coach and with his former coach behind him:

In the top row, former Alabama golfer Trey Mullinax, who has won on the PGA Tour and is a top-200 player in the world is on the top left.

In the middle is Crimson Tide golf legend and 2x major champion Justin Thomas.

Left of Thomas, of course, is Nick Saban.

Interestingly, with Kalen DeBoer now the head coach, he’s taken a seat on the front row next to Milroe.

The conversations that must have been shared among a group like that remain a mystery — but with so many legends in one picture, you know it was fascinating.
