Rick & Bubba on Kim Davis and Obama’s Rule of Law hypocrisy: ‘Where’s the consistency?’

(Video Above: The Rick and Bubba Show discusses the left’s hypocrisy on the rule of law)

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — On Tuesday’s edition of the Rick and Bubba Show, Bill “Bubba” Bussey pointed out the hypocrisy of the liberal Left when using “The Rule of Law” to accomplish set agendas.

During the 8-minute discussion, Bubba referenced the jailing of Kim Davis, the Rowan County, Kentucky clerk who repeatedly refused to issue marriage licenses to same-sex couples because her personal religious convictions conflict with same-sex marriage.

According to Bussey, the treatment of such a person because of their faith is ridiculous.

“We march off this lady, who hasn’t even had a speeding ticket, in shackles,” Bussey said.

Referencing Civil Rights icons Rosa Parks and Martin Luther King, Jr. who both broke the law in order to show the error with the law at the time, Bussey said they acted because “the rule of law was wrong, morally.”

The radio host compared the treatment of Davis with how Obama has ignored the state of Colorado’s sale of marijuana, despite prohibition of the drug continuing in federal law.

“Where is the consistency?”, he opined, “I don’t have a problem with the rule of law, but I want us to be consistent across the board.”

“Right now if you are a liberal cause you can break [the law], because you feel that it’s unfair. But if someone has convictions as a Christian breaks it, its off to the slammer with them.” Bubba asked, “What’s this really all about?”

Concluding, Bubba said he feels that all should have equal treatment under the law, mentioning that some over others are now favored by the law and use it for their own purposes.

“Right now we’re not playing by the same set of rules,” he concluded, “and it should make us all mad, real mad.”
