‘Resounding victory’: Alabama’s federal delegation congratulates President Trump on historic win

After it became clear early this morning that President Donald Trump would win a second term in the White House, Alabama’s two senators and other members of its Washington delegation congratulated the now president-elect. Alabama, a state that Trump has won handily in the last two elections, was again an easy win for the Republican.

Sen. Katie Britt (R-Montgomery) hailed Trump’s win as a “resounding victory.”

Senator Tommy Tuberville (R-Auburn) welcomed Trump back to the White House.

U.S.  Rep. Robert Aderholt (R-Haleyville) noted his excitement to once again work with Trump to better the U.S.

U.S. Rep. Mike Rogers (R-Saks) was also thrilled about the big win.

In 2016, Trump bested Hillary Clinton by 27.7 points, and in 2020 beat Biden by 25.4 points to win Alabama. In this year’s election, Trump received his highest margin of victory yet in the Yellowhammer State dominating Kamala Harris by 30.6 points to gain Alabama’s nine electoral votes.
