Rep. Robert Aderholt welcomes Alabama marching bands to register for 2025 presidential inaugural parade

U.S. Rep. Robert Aderholt is calling for high school and college marching bands from Alabama to represent the state in the upcoming 2025 presidential inaugural parade.

The parade, according to Aderholt (R-Haleyville), is fast approaching.

“On January 20, 2025, the United States will inaugurate the 47th President of the United States. While the election to choose the next President is still several weeks away, plans for the inauguration are already underway. The plans include the current construction of the inaugural platform on the United States Capitol West Front and planning for the inaugural parade down Pennsylvania Avenue.”

The Congressman is looking forward to the Yellowhammer State’s best performing in Washington D.C.

“I know that we have some great high school and college marching bands across Alabama, and they would make a great addition representing Alabama in the parade,” said Aderholt. “Organizations that wish to enter floats into the parade will also be considered. I look forward to Alabama being represented on January 20th.”

For more information on entering the parade, go to the parade website here. The deadline to enter is December 4, 2024.
