If the federal government is being a grinch this Christmas, my office can help.
A frustration I often hear from constituents is that it seems like Congress isn’t doing enough for the American people. While I often share that frustration, I want to make sure you and your family know that my office works on behalf of constituents to help them cut through the red tape and battle the bureaucracy.
During my time in Congress, my team has resolved nearly 4,000 cases and returned over $11 million to constituents that the federal government was withholding from them.
The Congressional Management Foundation recently recognized our hard work and named my team as the runner-up for Constituent Accountability and Accessibility for all of Congress.
The most rewarding thing about my job is having a veteran walk up to me in a restaurant and thank me for helping him get his hearing aids, or hearing that we recovered thousands of dollars from the IRS for a young family.
If you need help with a federal agency, please reach out to us. We can help recover taxpayer money from the IRS, ensure Veterans get the benefits they deserve from the VA, and assist seniors in navigating Social Security and Medicare.
My office has also helped renew passports, assisted small business owners with the Small Business Administration, and made sure those affected by disasters get FEMA relief.
My district offices in Dothan, Andalusia, Troy and Wetumpka, are open Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Walk-ins are always welcome, but you can also call us for assistance at the phone numbers listed on barrymoore.house.gov. For those who live further away from our office locations, we provide mobile office hours each month in our counties that do not have a district office. At our mobile office hours, my staff sit in easy-to-access locations across the district to be available for those who need help. Those locations are updated monthly and available at barrymoore.house.gov/mobileofficehours.
It is an honor to serve the people of Alabama. If we can ever help you, I hope you will reach out to us at 334-547-6330 or go to barrymoore.house.gov/services to leave us a message.
