Birmingham-headquartered Regions Bank announced that it had received a Gallup Exceptional Workplace Award for 2022.
“Being named a Gallup Exceptional Workplace affirms Regions’ commitment to making associate engagement a priority,” said Regions Financial Corp. president and CEO John Turner.
This is the eighth year running that Regions has won this award. Research for the award includes studies of millions of employees across all industries. Gallup finds that workplaces with an intentional focus on engagement in corporate culture and values are the highest scoring.
Gallup highlighted that Regions still engaged and developed their associates despite disruptions from the pandemic.
Jim Harter, Gallup chief scientist of workplace management and wellbeing, stated, “Gallup’s 2022 GEWA winners have steered their organizations through another unprecedented and challenging year. They didn’t slow down or hit ‘pause’ during times of uncertainty. They stayed true to their organizational values.
