Regions Bank earns Gallup Exceptional Workplace Award for 12th consecutive year

Regions Bank has once again been recognized for its workplace culture, earning the 2026 Gallup Exceptional Workplace Award (GEWA) for employee engagement.

The Birmingham-based financial institution announced Thursday that it has received the honor for the 12th consecutive year, recognizing organizations with some of the most engaged workplace cultures in the world.

“Our associates are the heart of Regions, and their engagement is central to our ability to serve customers and communities with excellence,” said Angela Santone, Regions’ Chief People Officer. “Being honored again with the Gallup Exceptional Workplace Award reflects the strength of our culture and our ongoing commitment to creating an environment where people can thrive, grow and build meaningful careers.”

Gallup noted that even amid widespread workplace disruption and rapid organizational change across industries, Regions continues to demonstrate a strong commitment to building a high-performance culture.

According to Gallup’s analysis, the company has fostered an environment where employees feel valued, heard and equipped to perform at their best, even in complex and uncertain conditions.

Gallup research shows organizations that focus on both employee engagement and performance are better positioned for long-term success. The firm’s workplace research includes data from more than 3.3 million employees across 347 organizations in 53 industries and 90 countries, making it one of the most comprehensive workplace studies conducted.

Gallup reports that organizations with highly engaged employees consistently outperform peers in areas such as customer satisfaction, profitability, productivity, safety and employee wellbeing.
