The nominees for the College Football Hall of Fame Class of 2025 have been announced, with several legendary players and coaches from Alabama eligible.
In the coaching department, Nick Saban is qualified to be on the ballot in his first year of eligibility. Widely regarded as one of the greatest coaches in history, Saban is almost certainly a lock for induction.
U.S. Senator Tommy Tuberville, another former head coach who gave the Crimson Tide a run for their money in the early 2000s, also appears on the ballot. The former Auburn and Ole Miss head coach led Auburn to its longest Iron Bowl winning streak, defeating Alabama six times from 2002-2007.

Both schools had two legendary players each named to the ballot as well.
Mark Ingram, who was Alabama’s first-ever Heisman Trophy winner in 2009, as well as Chris Samuels, a legendary guard who won the Outland Trophy in 1999, were both named.
For Auburn, 1984 consensus All-American linebacker Greg Carr as well as two-time Tiger defensive MVP Takeo Spikes were both named.
Those who make it will be inducted in Las Vegas on Dec. 9, 2025, at the Bellagio Hotel & Resort.
