New Chick-fil-A location opens in Auburn

(Chick-fil-A)

A new Chick-fil-A has officially opened in Auburn as of Tuesday.

The popular fast-food chain announced that the restaurant will offer drive-thru, carry-out, and Mobile Thru services from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m., Monday through Thursday, and from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.

Chick-fil-A has appointed Will Bowling, a company veteran of 18 years, as the independent franchised local owner and operator for the Auburn location.

Bowling was previously named the owner-operator of the Auburn Mall location in 2018.

“I’m so grateful for this new opportunity to deepen our relationship with our guests in Auburn,” Bowling said. “My wife and I have planted roots here. We’ve raised our family here so it’s special to us to be able to continue serving in a community that is truly our home.

The restaurant is expected to have approximately 110 employees when fully staffed and is located at 2124 E. University Drive.
