Montgomery’s 2024 Buckmasters Expo set for August

The annual Buckmasters Expo in Montgomery, Alabama has officially been set for August 16, 17, and 18th.

The event will offer both families and hunting enthusiasts the opportunity to explore over three hundred booths offering a full range of hunting products. The booths will be open from 3-8 p.m. on Friday, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday.

The Expo will feature entertainment from outdoors celebrities, the Top Bow Indoor Archery Tournament, and Swifty Swine’s pig racing.

The Harriott II Riverboat will also be offering free rides on the Alabama River on Saturday and Sunday.

Additionally, the Bulls & Buckmasters professional bull riding show is scheduled for Friday and Saturday night, with free admission and additional entertainment before and after the event.

As part of the weekend, expo visitors will also be able to put their trophy buck on display in the Buckmasters Trophy Records antler scoring area, where hunters can bring their deer racks to be measured free of charge by BTR master scorers.

There will be special guests all weekend, including Robert Arrington of “Deer Meat for Dinner,” the suburban hunters from Seek One, social media sensation Aly from Alabama, and the Bama Grill Master Tim Van Doren.

The Buckmasters Expo is sponsored by The US Army, Alabama Power, Wind Creek Casino & Hotel-Montgomery, Riverside Chevrolet, Capitol Tractor, and AG Credit.

Entry cost is just a can of food or a $1 donation benefiting the Friendship Mission and Salvation Army.

As in years past, the expo will be held at the Renaissance Convention Center on 201 Tallapoosa Street Montgomery, Al.
