Milroe, Tide featured in ‘College Football 25’ trailer

EA Sports has released the trailer of the College Football 25 video game which will be released July 19.

In just over an hour after EA posted the trailer, it had been viewed on X more than 4 million times. 

Among the schools and players featured were Alabama and quarterback Jalen Milroe, who gets up to throw a touchdown pass the play after being knocked down and sacked.

The team’s official social media channels clipped the Tide portions of the trailer and posted them individually as well:

The defense’s “turnover belt” is featured in celebration as well.

On top of the gameplay trailer, EA released some more official details surrounding the game as well including game modes and new features exclusive to CFB 25.

According to EA’s website, the game will include “CampusIQ™” gameplay features including:

True College Gameplay:

“Powered by a wide range of player ratings that fluctuate throughout a game, team tiers, and new in-game passing mechanics, EA SPORTS™ College Football 25 delivers strategic, fast-paced gameplay reflecting the true depth of college football.”

Wear and Tear System:

Manage your players’ health, limit fatigue, assess risk of injury, and avoid on-field mistakes by using strategic substitutions to ensure your players are at their best when it counts.”

Pre-Snap Recognition:

Get the intel you need at the line so you can read the field and make the right decision when it matters most.”

Home Field Advantage:

“The host team has a tangible gameplay advantage in every matchup. Test your squad’s road game composure as you face various levels of distractions like screen shaking, missing pre-play icons, and moving play art.”

In addition to all of this, EA has confirmed that both the iconic ‘Dynasty Mode’ where you lead a program to success and ‘Road to Glory’ mode where you live out the career of an individual custom player will return.

Gamers will be able to utilize the transfer portal as well in both modes as EA attempts to make things as realistic as possible.

While release is still two months away, fans got a huge amount of information on Friday about the most anticipated video game of the decade.
