“A wife of noble character who can find? She is worth far more than rubies. Her husband has full confidence in her and lacks nothing of value.”

The 31st chapter of Proverbs extolls the blessings of finding a Godly wife. Preacher Herman Pair of Henagar, Clay and Birmingham found one.

His wife of 56 years, Linda, went to her heavenly home June 17.

In addition to being a full-time preacher’s wife 24/7, Linda had personal ministries, including her meaningful greeting card ministry.

If you ever received one, you know.

“Just think, of stepping on shore, and finding it heaven.
Of touching a hand, and finding it God’s.
Of breathing new air, and finding it celestial.
Of waking up in Glory, and finding it Home.”

Visitation is 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, June 20 at Lakeside Baptist Church, 2965 Old Rocky Ridge Road, Birmingham, followed by funeral at 11.
