Kids to Love announces thrill-filled Regions Center fundraiser in downtown Huntsville

There will be no shortage of adrenaline at the fourth annual Kids to Love fundraiser this weekend at the Regions Center in downtown Huntsville.

More than 100 “Edgers” will rappel 160 feet down the side of the Regions Center to raise money for youth in foster care. Each Edger secured their slot by committing a minimum donation of $1,500 to Kids to Love.

The two-day event will begin Friday, September 17 at 4 p.m. Friday’s VIP Edgers include Alabama Attorney General Steve Marshall and Madison Mayor Paul Finley. Rappels continue Saturday, September 18 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m..

The event will feature food trucks, music and Kid Zone on Saturday. Kids to Love welcomes members of the community to come out and attend the street party and watch Edgers grapple down Regions Center which towers over the skyline of downtown Huntsville.

Over the Edge is presented by Twickenham Advisors, with supporting sponsors: Regions Bank, Colliers, Wilson Lumber, Mazda Toyota Manufacturing, iHeartMedia and Jack’s.
