Governor Kay Ivey, along with co-chairs Jimmy Rane and Dr. Cathy Randall, on Friday announced 49 additional Alabamians have been selected to serve on the governor’s Honorary Inaugural Committee.
“The Honorary Inaugural Committee is an accomplished group of Alabamians who have worked tirelessly over the years to keep this state moving forward,” Ivey said in a statement. “I am grateful for their dedication, and I look forward to working together as we prepare for a new era focused on growing jobs, improving education and building a brighter future for Alabama.”
The Honorary Inaugural Committee will assist Randall, Rane and the committee staff in planning the festivities surrounding the January 14 inauguration.
