U.S. Senator Tommy Tuberville (R-Auburn) honored twelve Alabamians in 2025 during his “Veteran of the Month” series.

Tuberville, who is also running for Governor of Alabama in 2026, recognizes a different Alabama veteran each month for their service and contribution to their community.

He began the series in 2023 to show his appreciation for Alabama veterans for their service to our military, our country, and the Alabama communities they call home.

“Alabama is home to more than 400,000 veterans who bravely answered the call to defend our country,” Tuberville said.

“Even though they’re no longer in uniform, they still serve our local communities in remarkable ways. I’ve enjoyed listening to the unique ways that Alabama’s veterans are giving back to their communities. Their efforts make our state a better place to call home. I look forward to continuing to share the stories of Alabama’s heroes in the upcoming year and hope all Alabamians will join me in continuing to show our appreciation for their sacrifice.”
