Huntsville-based RCP Companies is expanding its footprint throughout the state with the introduction of three team members and the opening of a Birmingham office. RCP is an entrepreneurial developer of innovative places and experiences such as Huntsville’s MidCity and CityCentre districts.
“As our impact grows beyond Huntsville, RCP has been carefully planning for the next opportunity to further our mission of creating well-built, experiential environments across the region,” said RCP co-Founder Max Grelier. “We’re strengthening our bench with more dynamic talent and extending our presence with three new team members.”
Nora Dowd, the RCP’s director of investments, boasts a 20-year career in commercial real estate investment and development across diverse property types. With experience in multifamily development and commercial real estate loan work-outs, she held key roles at AIG Global Real Estate Investment Group for more than a decade.
As director of property management, Anthony Rossi brings a hospitality and commercial real estate background in management, operations and strategy to RCP. His leadership experience spans across Northern California, Las Vegas and Atlanta, encompassing retail, office, residential and mixed-use projects. Rossi received the Las Vegas 40 Under 40 award in 2020.
Phil Amthor will be based in RCP’s new Birmingham location as part of the company’s long-term growth strategy. He is focusing on strategic planning and project management for new and adaptive reuse projects. With a background in architecture and community planning from Auburn University, Amthor’s pivotal role in establishing Alabama’s first land bank authority showcases his approach to community development. He excels in boutique downtown development and has a proven track record of revitalizing neighborhoods, bringing a new level of expertise and dynamic contributions to RCP.
“With the addition of these dynamic new hires, we’re looking forward to tapping into their diverse backgrounds in commercial real estate investment, development, property management and urban planning,” said Grelier. “Phil, Anthony and Nora’s collective expertise will help elevate the RCP’s capabilities with fostering community empowerment as we look toward future growth.”
