A quality education is one of the most valuable gifts a child can be blessed with and students at Montgomery Christian School(MCS) receive just that.
As part of National School Choice Week, MCS has been recognized as a “School Choice Leader.” Its mission is to glorify God by providing an academically challenging education in a Christian environment to families with limited school choices.
The creation of the CHOOSE Act, which stands for the Creating Hope and Opportunity for Our Students’ Education Act, is making this gift more accessible for all Alabama students. The Choose Act was passed by the Legislature and signed into law by Governor Kay Ivey last year, and it allows qualifying students to receive $7,000 annually for an Education Savings Account that may be used for tuition to private, parochial, or Christian schools or $2,000 in expenses related to homeschooling.

“We are happy to participate in the National School Choice Week and to celebrate the options parents have for their children’s education,” said MCS. “School choice allows families to select what best fits their child/children’s needs. At Montgomery Christian School, we purposely partner with parents to develop academic, social, emotional, and spiritual maturity.”
MCS shared a video of one student’s success, which has equipped him to excel as an Auburn University finance student. Watch and see the impact School Choice has made in Parker Duncan’s life while he attended MCS from Kindergarten – 5th grade. His story is only one of many.
