GOP U.S. Senate hopeful Katie Britt: ‘Biden has lost his mind and lost his way’

During an interview that aired during Wednesday’s broadcast of “The Jeff Poor Show” on FM Talk 106.5 in Mobile, Republican U.S. Senate candidate Katie Britt talked about how the GOP has seemingly been unable to deliver on campaign promises in the past, notably when it comes repealing Obamacare and rolling back other expansions of the federal government.

Britt acknowledged those shortcomings but argued elements within the Republican Party deserved some of the blame for the underwhelming results.

She also noted that the political environment is much different than before, given that the Democratic Party, including Biden, has shifted more to the left on issues like the Hyde Amendment, which bans the use of federal money to be applied to abortions.

“If we’re looking at things that used to be bipartisan — the Hyde Amendment,” she said. “For years, Biden has said he has been on board with making sure that our taxpayer dollars did not go to fund abortion. And now, all of a sudden, like everything else — Biden has lost his mind and lost his way. Unfortunately, our country is paying the price.”
