With Title 42 expulsions ending next week at the southern border, Republicans in Alabama’s congressional delegation are speaking out and criticizing President Joe Biden’s failure to secure the border.
According to a report by Fox News, there will be there will be between 9,000 and 15,000 illegal crossings every single day once Title 42 expires.
WATCH: Fox News’ @BillFOXLA has new figures on the impact of the impending termination of Title 42 asylum rules: “A source tells Fox the DHS is projecting there will be between 9,000 and 15,000 illegal crossings every single day. Right now we’re averaging 7,000 per day.” pic.twitter.com/G8QxmdMs4O

The Biden administration says they’re looking into “a whole host of things” to prevent the humanitarian issue from getting worse before Title 42 goes away, but many Republicans aren’t buying it.
U.S. Rep. Mike Rogers reacted to the growing crisis at the border this week saying “Last week, Biden refused to go to the border because he had ‘more important things going on.’ Last night, over 1,000 illegal migrants passed into our county due to Biden’s negligence.”

We need to secure the border and hold the Biden admin accountable. https://t.co/88YLbtgvL7

U.S. Rep Gary Palmer (R-Hoover) weighed in as well saying “Our laws are being openly violated and the Biden Administration is doing nothing to stop it. We need border security now.”

U.S. Rep. Barry Moore (R-Enterprise) reacted to the latest numbers by once again calling for the impeachment of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, claiming no one would survive in the private sector after failing so much to do the job.
In the private sector, if you don’t do your job, you get canned. So why is Mayorkas still our DHS Secretary when there were 230,678 illegal encounters at our southern border in October alone? Proud to join @RepAndyBiggsAZ in the effort to impeach Mayorkas and secure our border! pic.twitter.com/Fh1s6fBqhn

U.S. Robert Aderholt (R-Haleyville) blamed Biden for “making excuses” instead of actually trying to solve the problem.
We’ve long known that securing the border is not a priority for this administration, but Americans are tired of excuses like these that result in a blind eye turned to the numerous crises at our border. This issue demands action AND accountability. pic.twitter.com/JcjwgGvTzD

U.S. Rep. Jerry Carl (R-Mobile) had a one word response to the latest migrant caravan being reported at the border, “Unbelievable.”
