According to Ramaswamy, 38, the country is experiencing a “national identity crisis” by allowing values such as “faith, patriotism and family” to die out – saying “secular religions” like “wokeism, climatism, COVIDism, and gender ideology,” are to blame.
He’s been showcasing his list of 10 core tenets along the campaign trail, most recently in Iowa:
- God is real.
- There are two genders.
- Human flourishing requires fossil fuels.
- Reverse racism is racism.
- An open border is no border.
- Parents determine the education of their children.
- The nuclear family is the greatest form of governance known to mankind.
- Capitalism lifts people up from poverty.
- There are three branches of the U.S. government, not four.
- The U.S. Constitution is the strongest guarantor of freedoms in history.

With Alabama “very close” to hosting an official RNC debate ahead of the fast-approaching March 5, 2024 primary date – candidates like Ramaswamy are being encouraged to make their case to some of the most conservative voters in the country.
Alabama Republican Party Chairman John Wahl told Yellowhammer News recently, “We’re a state that really showcases the citizenship that Republican candidates should be going after. A lot of issues that we’re seeing have the biggest impact on the national stage are also the ones that are most important to the people of Alabama.”
