At time of publication, candidate qualifying for the Alabama Republican Party in the 2026 election cycle has officially ended.

The party published a list of final candidates who are formally qualified for the primary ballot. Qualifying opened Monday, January 5, and closed today at 5:00pm.

The below roundup reflects a final and full list of the candidates who have completed the party’s qualifying process across races ranging from U.S. Senate and Congress to statewide constitutional offices, appellate courts, seats in the Alabama Legislature, and beyond.

The Republican primary election will be held on Tuesday, May 19, 2026.
