Former UAB head coach Bill Clark to host weekly radio show in Birmingham

WJOX 94.5 in Birmingham announced that former UAB head coach Bill Clark will host a weekly program on the station, entitled “The Bill Clark Show”, according to BarrettSportsMedia.

Clark will also reportedly make a weekly appearance on “3 Man Front”, the station’s midday show, each Monday at 1:00 P.M. CST with Pat Smith and Landrum Roberts. Clark made the announcement on their show and said he knows the two very well.

“I’m excited. We’ve known you guys forever. Our interactions have always been so good and so spot on. Coming from a coach’s perspective, I think opportunity to talk about behind the scenes, if you will, coach’s playbook type stuff and talk to coaches that I know talk to people in the industry, right now we’re set to go August to January, so I’m really excited,” Clark said during a WJOX appearance. “It’s kind of got the juices flowing again.”

During his six seasons coaching the Blazers, Clark oversaw what was the school’s most successful run in history, going 32-12 in conference play and 49-26 overall with four bowl game appearances and two victories.
