The 2024-25 SEC football season is highly anticipated for many reasons.
Division-less football, a new television network, and the simple glory of football returning are enough to make fans salivate.
As if that wasn’t big enough, it’s also the first season that Texas and Oklahoma will be joining the best conference in college football.
Texas is beginning to lay the groundwork for their first football season in the Southeastern conference as pictures surfaced online of SEC logos being added to Darrell K Royal Texas Memorial Stadium.

Each current SEC team will face off against either Texas or Oklahoma during the upcoming season.
Neither Alabama nor Auburn will face Texas during the 2024 season, with both taking on Oklahoma instead (Alabama travels to Norman while Auburn hosts the Sooners).
Texas will play its first SEC game on September 28 at home against Mississippi State before an absolutely massive showdown three weeks later at home against Georgia on October 19.
