Law enforcement authorities with various federal agencies have been working together to track down and arrest illegal aliens across the southern portion of the state, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) office in Mobile announced today.
As of February 4, agents have arrested a combined 137 individuals through various operations in places like southern Baldwin County.
“FBI Mobile, in conjunction with HSI Mobile, would like to provide some approximate arrest numbers in reference to immigration enforcement from February 4th, 2025, to the present day,” FBI’s Mobile office said today.
“As of today, the total number of individuals taken into custody stands at 137. On a daily average, the arrest teams have encountered at least one individual with a previous violent criminal history. We always make a priority of arresting dangerous criminals as part of our mission to keep our communities safe.”
“In many ways, these efforts rely on our existing partnerships and relationships with HSI and our other federal, state, and local partners.”
