Doug Jones for VP? Tuberville says he’d fit right in – and lose just as badly as he did in Alabama

U.S. Senator Tommy Tuberville was asked on a call with reporters Wednesday what he thought about Kyle Whitmire’s fantasy that former Alabama U.S. Senator Doug Jones would join Kamala Harris on the Democrat ticket as her running mate in 2024. He didn’t mince words.

“Doug Jones would be my pick for Kamala’s running mate, too,” Tuberville (R-Auburn) said. “You know, he’s the only incumbent Democratic senator to lose his seat this decade. He outspent me ten-to-one. I beat him by 20%.”

“So, I don’t think he would really help that ticket very much.”

However, Doug Jones being on the Democrat ticket in 2024 wouldn’t be off-brand for the party and its radical base, Tuberville added.

“But I would love for them to take him as vice president, because he fits their socialist, communist, globalist future for this country. He is not for the American people. He’s for people who come from the Democratic Party side that basically believe in a One World Government.”

“So, have at it,” he said. “I’d love for Doug Jones to be on that ticket.”
