Dismukes’ Strategy Management names political veteran from Kentucky to VP position

Montgomery-based political consulting firm Strategy Management has announced the hiring of a veteran political tactician as its next Vice President of Political Strategy.

Ryan Bitters,  the current Political Director for the Republican Party of Kentucky, has helped to lead conservatives to supermajorities in both the State House and State Senate, unseating multiple Democrats in long-held Democrat seats.

Additionally, Bitters led statewide field efforts for numerous constitutional offices and served as the Victory State Director for Senator Rand Paul’s decisive 24-point re-election victory in 2022.

In his new role, Bitters will assist in overseeing Strategy Management’s portfolio of clients, ranging from state and local candidates to federal candidates and independent expenditure efforts in more than 40 states, according to the company.

“We are thrilled to welcome Ryan to our firm,” said Dalton Dismukes, President of Strategy Management. “His many years of battle-tested experience will prove to be an invaluable asset to our clients in the years to come. Ryan not only knows what it takes to win, but he’s proven it time and again in one of the harshest political climates around the country.”

Bitters expressed his gratitude to those he worked with in Kentucky and emphasized that he is ready to hit the ground running in Montgomery.

“I am deeply thankful for the Republican Party of Kentucky, the many legislators, and candidates I’ve worked alongside all these years,” Bitters said. “It has been an honor learning from the most influential leaders in politics and watching firsthand what it takes to ‘punch above your weight’ in every race. I am excited to join the talented team at Strategy Management to continue electing strong conservative candidates all over the nation.”

Bitters will begin his new job effective April 1.
