The 2021 University of Alabama football schedule was finalized Wednesday and features seven games at Bryant-Denny Stadium, four SEC road matchups and a neutral site opener against the Miami Hurricanes.
The Crimson Tide will play that opening game on September 4 at Atlanta’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium. This marks the seventh time in the Nick Saban era that Alabama has opened the season in Georgia’s capital city, with UA holding a perfect 6-0 mark in those previous openers.
In conference play, Bama will host Ole Miss, Tennessee, Arkansas and LSU while traveling to Florida, Texas A&M, Mississippi State and Auburn this upcoming season.
The Tide also welcomes three non-conference opponents to Tuscaloosa: Mercer, Southern Miss and New Mexico State.
UA opens its home schedule with Mercer on September 11 before beginning SEC play at Florida on September 18. The Tide returns home to face Southern Miss and Ole Miss on September 25 and October 2, respectively. Bama will visit Texas A&M (October 9) and Mississippi State (October 16) and host Tennessee (October 30) before the bye week. Saban’s squad returns to action with a trio of home games against LSU (November 6), New Mexico State (November 13) and Arkansas (November 20). Alabama will close out the regular season with a trip to Auburn (November 27).
The 2021 SEC Championship Game is slated for December 4 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
