Defend Our Values PAC launches in Alabama, looking to become national conservative force

The newly formed Defend Our Values PAC’s (DOVPAC) first foray into a federal election is already making waves.

Based in Alabama, the super PAC was recently launched with one core mission: “winning a Republican Majority in the House of Representatives and the United States Senate.”

To that end, DOVPAC on Thursday announced its endorsement of Dr. Julia Letlow for Louisiana’s Fifth Congressional District. This congressional seat was vacated upon the tragic passing of her late husband, then Congressman-elect Luke Letlow.

Billy Taylor is the founder of DOVPAC. He was one of the largest donors to U.S. Senator Tommy Tuberville’s (R-AL) successful 2020 campaign and is quickly becoming a must-have supporter in Alabama politics. Now, his influence is expanding outside the state.

“Dr. Letlow is a Christian Conservative fighter, and DOVPAC is proud to offer her our full endorsement,” stated Taylor. “After talking to Dr. Letlow, I quickly realized she is the strong pro-life Conservative in this race and we need her in Congress. I believe our nation will be better served with Julia in office, and we are proud to support her.”

Letlow thanked DOVPAC for its endorsement in a social media post on Thursday afternoon.

DOVPAC’s website states that it “supports conservative Republican candidates running for the House and Senate by raising the resources needed to help counter the massive amounts of money that are being poured into races from the radical left.”

“We raise money from volunteers, activists, and ordinary Americans that care deeply about our country and are concerned about the lurch towards socialism,” the website adds. “DOVPAC strategically devotes its resources where we can make a difference. Our spending through direct mail, television, and digital advertising, is thoughtful and based on reliable numbers. Long and short – DOVPAC knows how to win the tough fights!”
