The Alabama Crimson Tide is getting ready to head up to Knoxville for the third Saturday in October rivalry game against the Tennessee Volunteers coming off back-to-back poor performances, yet also after a huge win against Georgia.
Kalen DeBoer is not letting his team lose sight of the goal and keeping things in perspective as the Tide prepare to step into what will likely be the most difficult road environment they will face all season and try to avenge the 2022 loss at Neyland Stadium.
On this week’s edition of ‘Hey Coach’ where DeBoer offered his final word ahead of the huge rivalry game, the Tide’s head coach told his team and fans that it’s all about their mindset.
"It's all about mindset. These guys understand the process, have stuck to it and they've most importantly stuck together."

“The guys came ready to work this week and keep taking those next steps,” DeBoer said. “There’s a lot of work and areas we can keep getting better at, but there has been some improvement from one week to the next that I felt has happened. So it’s all about mindset. These guys understand the process, have stuck to it and they’ve most importantly stuck together.”
Everything kicks off from Knoxville at 2:30 p.m. CST on Saturday afternoon.
