The Alabama Crimson Tide gets set to take on the Wisconsin Badgers this weekend at Bryant-Denny Stadium in what should be a final tune up game before a bye week and their biggest challenge yet headed on the road in two weeks to take on the Georgia Bulldogs.
Though it has not been the best of starts for Alabama this season given the loss on the road against Florida State in ugly fashion during week one, the Tide is trying to take steps to get it right starting last week with the dismantling of ULM, and now looking to do the same to Wisconsin.
Every week on “Hey Coach,” Kalen DeBoer gives his final word before the matchup, and unsurprisingly, he talked about the process of continuing to take that next step as a team.
“We just got to keep taking the next steps. Physically we took a step. We got to do that again,” DeBoer said. “Bryant-Denny Stadium, we love that place and there’s just something special when you step on the field there. We appreciate the fans for making it that way and we need that this weekend. We’re looking forward to another challenge and us taking the next steps in that direction.”
If DeBoer and his team can establish some momentum against the Badgers, fans will be feeling a little bit better about what’s to come in Athens in a couple of weeks.
Things kick off at Bryant-Denny Stadium at 11:00 a.m. CST in what should be a perfect weather day and tremendous afternoon in Tuscaloosa.
