Dale Strong: Trump’s 2024 campaign ‘is just fixing to start’

U.S. Rep. Dale Strong spoke to numerous pressing issues to the State of Alabama and the nation as a whole on WVNN’s “The Dale Jackson Show” Monday, following a second assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump over the weekend.

Strong (R-Monrovia) said he has steady faith in a Trump victory and detailed the need for increased security to protect the Republican nominee for president.

“I believe he’s gonna win this race,” said Strong. “But this is the thing those that are out there that don’t want him to win, this is what you’re going to see because this is what they’ve got to do to stop him, but again hopefully to goodness, we can get sufficient security around him.”

According to Strong, Trump’s true campaign is only beginning. “You think about the presidential election in 2016. If you go back at this point in that race, Hillary Clinton was still winning, He’s just now fixing to start the campaign. This campaign is just fixing to start. I believe we’re going to get a big lead.”

Strong urged Republicans to turn out to vote nationwide, especially due to the narrow margins in the U.S. House of Representatives. He also raised concerns about vulnerabilities in the electoral process, suggesting that Democrats might exploit them.

“The other thing is whenever you start seeing these reports in the paper about, some of these liberal media outlets are saying, ‘We need to be prepared that it could take weeks to find out who the President is.’ I think that’s totally just baiting the hook for what we might be dealing with — and they’re going to try to steal it another way. But, it’s about getting people out and about. Everybody making sure election security is covered.”

He gave credit to Alabama Secretary of State Wes Allen for removing illegal aliens from the list of registered voters in the state.

“Get those illegal aliens off our voting ballots. And then the other thing we ought to do is pass the federal law that if an illegal alien participates in any way in our election, let’s put them first up to be deported. That’s what Donald Trump is all about,” Strong stated. “We’ve got to send these illegal aliens back to the country of their origin.”
